On this weekend we shall explore both teachings and practices on these four foundations - how we construct an illusory sense of a solid, permanent, continuous sense of self.  To realise a sense of self beyond this, selflessness is liberation.

Open to all!

The Four Foundations of Mindfulness, the Satipatthana Sutra is one of the early teachings that the Buddha gave to his students: to remain aware of everything that takes place in one’s body, feelings, mind and objects of mind.

On this weekend we shall explore both teachings and practices on these four foundations and how Chogyam Trungpa interpreted this.  In essence the teachings explore how we construct an illusory sense of a solid, permanent, continuous sense of self (the five skandhas).  To realise a sense of self beyond this, selflessness is liberation.

This programme will take place in person at the London Shambhala Meditation Centre but can also be attended online - Please contact Katrina on [email protected] if you would like to participate remotely.
