Learn to Meditate at the Umbrella Centre, Whitstable

This course provides a complete introduction to mindfulness meditation. Taught by trained and experienced instructors, Vinita Joseph and Bernadette Lax, it is open to both beginners as well as those wishing to refresh and deepen their practice. People of any faith and none are all most welcome.

The four full-day workshops will be held at The Umbrella Centre in their spacious café space overlooking the garden. A simple meal will be provided during the lunch break when there will also be time to go for a walk on the beach or in town for those who wish.

Each workshop will involve guided meditation instruction, meditation practice and discussion. The course is interactive and aims to make the instructions experiential and relevant to our everyday lives.
